Assessment of patients' satisfaction using patient-controlled post-operative pain relief therapy at the Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital

Abstract
Objective: The purpose of the study is to determine how patients satisfy using patient-controlled intravenous PCA postoperative pain management therapy.
Subjects and methods: Statistical analysis of data from satisfaction survey forms (design for assessment of two aspects, including satisfaction with pain relief service provision and satisfaction with pain relief care) on 175 patients using postoperative pain relief services at clinical departments of Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital from October 2023 to October 2024.
Results: 93.08% of patients were satisfied with the care of medical staff, and 92.60% of patients were satisfied with the criteria for providing postoperative pain relief services; the average satisfaction score was 4.65, the overall satisfaction rate was 93.06%, and the overall satisfaction rate was 85.71%.
Conclusion: The majority of patients were satisfied (satisfied and very satisfied) with the quality of postoperative pain relief service via the patient-controlled intravenous route.
