Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the clinical results of angled mandibular condylar fracture treatment at Viet Duc University Hospital.
Subjects and method of study: Patients who had angled mandibular condylar fracture treatment with endoscopic support from Jun 2020 to December 2021. Descriptive and retrospective studies.
Results: The Age Male/Female Ratio =18/7; the average age: 32.0  14.1 years old; The cause of traffic accidents accounted for 24/25 patients (96%). At 6 months after surgery, 95% of patients had correct occlusion, the average maximum degree of mouth opening was 4.125  0.42cm, and there was 1 patient with mild weakness of the branch of the facial nerve.
Conclusions: The treatment of orthopedic combined bone in the treatment of angled mandibular condylar fractures (which can be supported by endoscopy) has brought good results for patients, a high success rate, low risk of complications.
