Abstract

In this article, I will discuss my usage of the TOT (Topical oxygen therapy - Natrox) to treat 4 patients with chronic wounds for separate causes in our Wound Healing Centre, National Burn Hospital. I conclude that during that process, TOT showed certain clinical effects as follows:
- TOT supports the wound healing process.
- TOT is easy to use and reduces the amount of time needed to change the patient’s bandages.
Nevertheless, with few numbers of patients and their ulcers’ small size, in order to evaluate thoroughly and systematically, there should be more studies on a larger scale with in-depth tests.
