Abstract

The study describes the knowledge of nurses and technicians about medical incidents (SCYK), based on the results of surveying 145 nurses and technicians working at the National Burn Hospital in 2020.
Results show that: The rate of knowledgeable nurses and technicians accounts for 98.6%, of which 4.8% is Excellent; 46.2% is Fair. The harmful effects of medical incidents accounted for 99.31% of correct responses; Problems caused by surgery and procedures with correct answers reached 97.24%. However, there are still many limitations in the knowledge of nurses and technicians about some specific contents of medical incidents: No relationship between knowledge scores and gender characteristics, professional qualifications, working seniority and the working unit of nurses, technicians participating in the survey has not been found (p > 0.05).
