Đánh giá kết quả sau phẫu thuật ở người bệnh glôcôm tại Khoa Glôcôm, Bệnh viện mắt Trung ương năm 2022

Abstract

Objective: The study was a Description of the results of care for patients after glaucoma surgery and find out some factors related in the Glaucoma Department, Viet Nam Eye Hospital in 2022.
Method: A follow-up descriptive study involved 321 patients with glaucoma surgery at the Glaucoma Department, National Eye Hospital from August to October 2022.
Rate care outcomes on a 100-point scale based on 10 criteria: Increased vision, lowering the intraocular pressure, diagnosis, potential complications of the surgery, satisfaction level for caring, sleep status, anxiety and depression, and quality of recovery.
Results: Average score of the results of care for patients after glaucoma surgery was 76.0 ± 8.2. The overall result of care for patients after glaucoma surgery was the good level was reported as 40.5%, while the rather level was 54.5%, the medium level was 4.4%, least level was 0.6%. There is a relationship between the results of care for patients by glaucoma stage, and surgical method (p < 0.05).
Conclusion: The results of care for patients after glaucoma surgery were at an average level. In the glaucoma stage, surgical methods have relationships with the patient’s caring outcome.
