Evaluating prognosis value of revised Baux score (rBaux) on burn patients.
Main Article Content
Abstract
This retrospective study investigated the prognosis role of the revised Baux index for burn patients.
The results showed that the standard mortality ratio of both Baux and rBaux index was greater than 1, but was lower for RBaux index (1.02 vs.1.14 respectively). AUC of the Baux index was 0.961 which was significantly higher than that for the Baux index (0.956; p < 0.001). In addition, the sensitivity of rBaux was also higher.
