Abstract

Objective: To determine some factors related to the survival time of patients with non-small cell lung cancer treated with high-frequency radiofrequency ablation (RFA) at the Nghe An Oncology Hospital.
Subjects and Methods: Prospective and interventional study of 63 patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who were not eligible for surgery and did not meet exclusion criteria and were treated with RFA with chemotherapy at the Nghe An Oncology Hospital from 1/2014 to 8/2022.
Results: There was a difference in the survival time and rate between the responsive and non-responsive groups. The results of the Cox regression analysis showed that the tumor size, stage of the disease, and response to treatment after RFA were factors affecting the overall survival of patients.
Conclusion: The size of the tumor, the stage of the disease, and the response to treatment after RFA are factors affecting the overall survival of patients with non-small cell lung cancer.
