Thực trạng, thái độ, rào cản và giải pháp nâng cao động lực nghiên cứu khoa học của sinh viên điều dưỡng Trường đại học Yersin Đà Lạt năm 2023

Abstract

Aims: The study aims to describe the current situation, attitudes, barriers, and some solutions to improve the scientific research motivation of nursing students of Yersin University of Dalat.
Research subjects and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 135 nursing students.
Results: The percentage of students participating in scientific research is 25.2%. Most students have a positive attitude towards scientific research activities from 66.7% to 83.7% with the contents of the necessity of scientific research, developing soft skills, experience and job opportunities, and consolidating professional knowledge. In addition, some barriers to scientific research account for a high number such as poor computer skills, foreign languages 63.7%, lack of knowledge and skills to do scientific research 64.5%. Moreover, some solutions are highly agreed to fully stimulate scientific research in students such as adding training points 74.8%; awarding 98 (72.6%); regulations to encourage scientific research 65.9%; innovating methods and procedures to conduct scientific research 68.2%; developing a number of lecturers to guide scientific research 66.6%.
Conclusion: Schools should have measures to promote scientific research among students.
