Abstract

Removing the entire scalp is a serious injury and covering the exposed skull is an urgent and difficult problem. At the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery, Cho Ray Hospital, we successfully connected a case of the entire scalp peeling off and exposing a large skull bone, with a cut wound across the left ear. The results after skin flap surgery were good, hair grew normally, and feeling was restored.
