Eevaluate the satisfaction of nursing students with the teaching activities of lecturers at the Faculty of Nursing, Hanoi University of Business and Technology in 2025

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the satisfaction of nursing students with the teaching activities of lecturers at the Faculty of Nursing, Hanoi University of Business and Technology in 2025, and to identify some factors related to the level of satisfaction.
Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 95 nursing students from first to fourth year at Hanoi University of Business and Technology, from January to May 2025. The survey instrument was developed based on the UNSASS questionnaire, adapted to the Vietnamese context. Data were processed using SPSS version 20.0, with descriptive statistics and tests applied to determine differences between demographic groups.
Results: Results showed that 86.3% of nursing students were generally satisfied with the teaching activities of their lecturers. Among the content areas surveyed, the highest satisfaction rate was in the group “attitude and student support” (88.4%), followed by “professional competence and pedagogy” (87.4%), while “assessment and feedback” and “communication - responsiveness” both reached 86.3%. Specific criteria such as lecturers’ high level of expertise, motivation encouragement, willingness to support, and detailed feedback were rated very highly, with the majority of students selecting “very satisfied.” Analysis of related factors indicated that two personal characteristics were statistically associated with satisfaction: age (p = 0.034) and part-time work status (p < 0.05). Students under 20 years old and those with part-time jobs had higher satisfaction rates compared to other groups.
Conclusion: Most nursing students were satisfied with the teaching activities of lecturers at the Faculty of Nursing, especially regarding professional competence and teaching attitude. The findings provide practical evidence to support quality improvement in nursing education at the university.
