Khảo sát kiến thức phòng và xử trí phản vệ của điều dưỡng viên ngoại khoa tại Bệnh viện Quân y 103 năm 2025

Abstract

Objective: To assess surgical nurses’ knowledge of prevention and management of anaphylaxis and to analyze associated factors at Military Hospital 103 in 2025. 
Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among all nurses directly involved in patient care in the surgical departments at Military Hospital 103 (n = 201) from March 2025 to August 2025. The research instrument was developed based on Circular No. 51/2017/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health and validated by three experts, with a content validity index (CVI) of 0.95 and a reliability (Cronbach’s alpha) of 0.89. The self-administered questionnaire consisted of 40 questions. 
Results: A total of 68.2% of nurses achieved the required level of knowledge. Years of working experience were significantly associated with nurses’ knowledge levels (p < 0.05). 
Conclusion: The proportion of nurses with adequate knowledge of anaphylaxis prevention and management remains suboptimal. Years of working experience were associated with knowledge level. Strengthening training and updating professional knowledge, particularly for nurses with fewer years of experience, is recommended to improve the quality of patient care in surgical departments.
