Evaluation of the local therapeutic effects of Anson nanosilver gel and Anson nanosilver dressing on chronic infected wounds

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the antimicrobial effect and safety of Anson nanosilver gel and Anson nanosilver dressing on chronic infected wounds.
Subjects and methods: A prospective study was conducted on 30 patients with chronic infected wounds. Dressings were changed and Anson nanosilver gel/dressing was applied according to the protocol. Local wound changes and bacterial changes on the wound surface were evaluated.
Results: Anson nanosilver gel and dressing were safe, showed antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, and may promote tissue regeneration and epithelialization. No cases of allergic reactions occurred.
Conclusion: Anson nanosilver gel/dressing are safe, show antibacterial, anti-inflammatory effects, and may promote tissue regeneration and epithelialization.
