Abstract

About 30 - 50% of healthy people carry Staphylococcus aureus bacteria as lice on the skin and mucous membranes, especially in the hands, this is one of the very dangerous risks to spread and spread. pathogens.
Our study aims to describe the current situation of Staphylococcus aureus infection in the hands of the student of the Laboratory Medicine Technique of Hanoi Medical University during the period from September 2020 to May 2021 using tissue analysis. cross description.
Research results: The rate of Staphylococcus aureus infection on students' hands was 19.3%, among those infected, there were 2 cases of MRSA infection, accounting for 7.7%, found in both current and untrained students at the hospital. The rate of Staphylococcus aureus infection of the sample group before hand washing (26.3%) was higher than that of the group sampling after hand washing (10.2%), the difference was statistically significant with p < 0.05.
