Abstract

Background: Auricular defects caused by trauma, infection, tumors, etc… remain a great challenge to reconstruct. Depending on the site, the area of the defects, we have to use or combine different flaps to achieve the desired result. Ths report aimed to describe our experience using local flaps to cover the auricular defects and partial auricular reconstruction at Hue Central Hospital Branch 2.
Methods: Describe the location, morphology of the defect and the method of covering auricular defects and partial auricular reconstruction at Hue Central Hospital branch 2.
Conclusions: Injury causing partial loss of the auricle is rare in clinical practice. Reconstructive surgery for partial defect of the ear with the local skin flap gives good results.
