Tổng quan công tác đào tạo y học thảm hoạ trên thế giới

Trong những năm gần đây, số lượng các vụ thảm họa đã tăng lên cho thấy rằng các thế hệ thầy thuốc trong tương lai sẽ phải đối mặt và tham gia vào công tác đáp ứng y tế trong các vụ tai nạn thương tích hàng loạt và thảm hoạ ở mức độ lớn hơn trước đây. Thiếu đào tạo đầy đủ về quản lý y tế trong thảm hoạ, là một thực trạng rõ ràng trong những năm qua. Đào tạo y học thảm họa là một nhiệm vụ không thể thiếu nhằm mục tiêu chuẩn bị sẵn sàng cho các vụ thảm họa có thể xảy ra trong tương lai. Do đó, nhiều chính phủ và các tổ chức khoa học đã đồng thuận đưa đào tạo y học thảm hoạ là một trong những tiêu chuẩn trong chương trình đào tạo y khoa.
